Same-day engraving is genuinely available at our GTA studio, but it is not automatic. Whether a job can be done the same day depends on the item, the personalization, the artwork and how full the day already is. Here is how to tell in advance.

What usually qualifies

Short text engraving — a name, initials, a date, a single line — on metal, glass, slate or wood.
In-stock items already in the studio.
Small quantities where every piece carries the same text.
Items you bring in yourself, once we have confirmed the material and surface are suitable.

What usually does not

Jobs needing new artwork — a logo redraw, a photo clean-up, or a design built from scratch.
Photo and full-colour print work, which follows the printing schedule rather than the engraving bench.
Larger runs, or runs where each item carries different text.
Anything on an item we would need to order in.

Bring-your-own items

We do engrave customer-supplied items. Material matters: coated metals, anodized aluminium, stainless steel, glass, slate and hardwoods behave differently under a laser, and some finishes cannot be engraved safely at all. Send a photo of the item and the area you want engraved before you travel, and we will tell you whether it is workable.

How to confirm before you come in

Message us with the item, the exact text or artwork, and the time you need it by. We will confirm same-day feasibility for that specific job rather than quoting a blanket cut-off time — the honest answer depends on the queue that day.

Artwork and design fees

Text-only jobs carry no design charge. If your job needs artwork prepared, a design fee applies starting at $25 depending on complexity, and jobs where each item needs different names are quoted as a base charge plus a set amount per item.

Pickup

Same-day work is collected in person in the Greater Toronto Area. If you cannot collect, we ship Canada-wide on our standard production schedule instead.
